Am I missing something here? I just got an MX master 3 and MX keys (not the new Mac version)

I would prefer to have them connected to my 2013 Mac Pro via USB dongle that is supplied. But when I do I can't wake the mac with the keyboard.

I have to reach around and press the power button on the Mac to make it work.

Right now I have the Mouse connected to the Unifying dongle and MX keys via bluetooth.

I have ran into similar issues

I can not get the Master 3 to connect via bluetooth, only dongle
The MX Keys can connect to bluetooth but will "forget" often and will not wake up machine

Mine stays connected and seems ok via BT for the most part.

It can connect to unifying dongle no problem. Just can't wake the Mac which is silly.

Figured it out. Moved the USB dongle to a direct USB port vs through a hub that I had it in.
