I just got this keyboard, but recently the battery life has become really bad. It's only been within the last few days. Has anyone else had this problem with this keyboard?

I use an MX Keys Mini with my M4 Mac Mini Pro, zero problems, works great for me.

I use my MX Keys Mini since May 2022, 24/7 in Home Office and then also Private, writing a lot of E-Mails Code and more....

I have Magnetic USB C/Mini/Lightning Adapters and cable´s on my Desk... it is working weeks or month with Light.

You should use it in BT Mode, that will always save Battery, because it is a more efficient protocol.
Plus the distance from the BT Receiver will also make a difference.

The light will also dim when not using and switch on when getting near the MX Keys, does this work on yours ?

I think I mistakenly turned on the backlight. I've turned it off now, and I hope that helps the battery last longer.

I also didn't realize that using Bluetooth consumes less power. So, I made the switch. With these changes, I hope the battery life improves.

Thanks!

I use the mx keys for mac keyboard
The best keyboard there is, very comfortable
With a battery that lasts me two months
(I don't use the backlight because the importer who brought it here engraved it badly for me and you can't see the letters when the backlight is on)
If not for touch id there really is no reason to buy a magic keyboard

Yeah, I love this keyboard! The typing experience is awesome!

I think the issue was with the backlighting. Yesterday, after charging it, it dropped from 100% to 80% quite quickly, which was a bit worrying. But since I turned off the backlighting, it's still at 80%.

I'm also glad that there's no difference now that I've switched to a Bluetooth connection. If this helps with the battery life as well, then that's great.

After having written about the not poor Battery Life of my Logitech MX Keys Mini i have installed the Logi Options + Software and have gotten bad Battery life as well.

Main reason seams to be:

I cannot Switch off the Light on the Keyboard itself.
When switching off on the Keyboard via dimming it switches on allways and sucks Battery during Day time.
When switching Off in the Software i was not able to switch on on the Keyboard.

Deleted Logi Option +.
Problem Solved.
