Logitech Mx Keys Mini Easy Switch Device Listing (aka Is my new keyboard new?)

I purchased (a supposedly brand new) a Logitech MX Keys Mini for Mac keyboard .

I was setting up the keyboard last and noticed that the Easy Switch device listing appeared as follows:

The first device is my MBP --> all good!

Question 1: Second and third devices were never paired to teh keyboard yet Logi Options+ shows a device has been paired to each of the second and third Easy-Switch keys. Are the listed devices placeholders that normally appear (i.e., as I thought they would be blank) or is my supposedly brand new keyboard not brand new?

Question 2: How do I rename teh second and third easy-switch buttons to "Not Used"?
