I'm trying to use my new Logitech MX Revolution with Mac Pro and for some reason it will only work if it's plugged into one of the front USB ports. The back ports work with other USB peripherals but no luck with the MX Rev.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know why your front ports aren't working, but I have 3 of those mice and I plug the little dongles into the USB ports on the keyboard - they work fine and there are no issues with range.

Maybe the signal get blocked or the wireless range isn't very good. Mine works perfectly from the Front ports and the Keyboard port, but I have never tried using the back ports for it.

That was my initial thought too. I put the sensor in a USB hub that sits on top of the tower, and it works fine. Never tried the back. I always assumed it needed the strongest connection possible.
