Is anyone else having problems getting their MX900 to work with a PowerBook? or is this particular mouse malfunctioning? My Bluetooth claims that it isn't a "discoverable device"...:

Yeah, the MX900 isn't quite Mac-compatible. I think you need to have the USB charging station plugged-in for the mouse to work. And, even then I'm not sure if the mouse works at all because Logitech does not support the MX900 on the Mac.

I have the MX900 and works with the Powerbook flawlessly..
No charging pod required.

When the Powerbook is searching for the mouse.. have your tried pressing the "Connect" button on the bottom of the mouse? or at least clicking the mouse..

I paired my Logitech MX 900 BT mouse with my 12" PB and 12" iBook. Both worked as well as I can expect, given the fact Logitech does not provide the control center for Macintosh. The beauty of BT is a standardized connectivity as long as your machine has BT. Battery life for MX900 is less than what I get from MX 1000 Laser Mouse (which is a standard bearer in the world of mice), though.
