...with Tiger. How is it? Can you customize each of the buttons to perform commands/open applications? I hear that the bluetooth is a bit spotty occasionally, but if anyone has had any other experiences with it, please do tell. Also, if anyone can give me any suggestions for any bluetooth mice that have 3+ buttons on it (preferably more, because I'd like to customize them).

I don't have the MX 900. But I do have the MX 310 and it is fully functional like in a PC and the button programmin works. The only complaint I have is that the back and forward buttons are not compatible with finder windows and can sometimes not work with Safari. However, I would definitely buy logitech again for my mac though I would get the MX 500.
