So I've used my Logitech Pure-Fi Elite with my old 4th Gen iPod for years until the battery and clicker wheel went in the Pod. I always noticed how hot the iPod was when I took it out out of the dock in the Logitech but never worried about it.
Anyhow, i've resisted the temptation to place my 3GS in there probably because of some iPhone OCD phobia about getting the device too hot. I've played a few songs with the iPhone through it but always immediately removed the phone afterwards. Now, my wife wants to play a bunch of Albums off my iPhone for our Halloween party and i'm wondering whether its wise given the heat (see, OCD again!)
Can anyone allay my fears? How hot is hot before any damage to the iPhone or battery within it ?
Mark.
