Logitech S530 still Kernel Panicing?

Hi, I'm planning to buy a Logitech S 530 kb and mouse set to use with my macbook at home. I do take my macbook on the road like practically everyday so i will be unplugging the USB dongle quite often, I hear this causes Kernel Panics?? Has logitech released an update to their software to resolve this issue??

I use the Logitech S530 combo with my MBP, which I unplug everyday, and have never had a kernel panic. The S530 has worked great for me.
