Hi all

Currently having scrolling issues with Logitech mouses on my MBP (Early 2015) and looking for some advice. Contacted both Apple and Logitech to no avail.

In short, when scrolling away on the physical mouse, there is barely any scroll on-screen (an inch). Sometimes, there is no movement at all. So much so, I now use the scroll bar as a contingency.

These problems began with the M185, so I replaced this with the M590. For the first 1-2 hours, scrolling was perfect with the M590. However, its back to its old tricks again.

I'm running Logi Options, which is enabled in System Preferences, under accessibility. This was removed and added again but to no avail.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Cheers.

Just some thoughts...

Did the Logitech mouse (if wireless) come with a "unifying receiver"?
If so, I'd use that instead of trying to use it via bluetooth, which may be less reliable).
The unifying receiver could plug right into the USB port on the right side of the MBP.

I wouldn't use the Logitech options driver software. In fact, I've NEVER used it, and I've been using Logitech mice for many years now.

Instead, I suggest you try one of these. Either:
- USB Overdrive
or
- SteerMouse.

Both are small shareware utilities that offer lots of mouse control.
I suggest you try them BOTH, and then choose the one you like better.

I feel your pain. My Mx Master decided to start acting exactly as you describe on my 2018 MacBook Pro and I am a long-time Steer Mouse user. As a desperate last attempt, I tried to reinstall the Logitech options app, rebooted, and then promptly went to the utilities folder to run the Logi uninstaller app that it puts on the computer for removal. After another reboot, Steer Mouse thinks I have one model back of the Logitech mouse and scrolling is still dead.
