Hello,

I bought a new Logitech Signature M650L mouse and connected it to my Mac mini M2 with Logitech Bolt.
When the Mac is in Standby it wakes up every time the mouse is touched (only moved, no buttons clicked).

This also happens when connected via Bluetooth.

Is there a way to turn it of?

Thank you!

Please answering in easy understanding English, because it's not my native language :)

Thank you, but this is not a practicable solution to turn the mouse on every time I want to use it and turning it off after every standby. Also you have to be hurry, otherwise the Mac is on again.

This is working as designed. There's no way to disable this functionality without turning the mouse off each time.
I'm not sure of the behavior of Apple's mice as I don't really use them, but every other 3rd party mouse I've ever used behaves the same way as the Logitech.

Thank you.
I have tried it now with an older Speedlink mouse and an Jelly Comb mouse, connected both with their USB-Dongle. The don't wake up the Mac until I activate a mouse button.
So I think too this is the desired behavior from Logitech.

All my Logitech mice wake up the laptop or my iPad as soon as I move the mouse. No button clicking needed.

There used to be an option to until Monterey to turn wake on or off for bluetooth devices. It was removed without any justification.

If you mean that you want bluetooth to wake the Mac, but you just don't want it to wake with mouse movement, I think that's on Logitech and you can't change it.

Set up a parking spot for your mouse, where you can leave it out of your way, so you don't accidentally move it.
