I've never heard of this anywhere, so I thought i would post it. I was using the same Logitech Speaker doc to charge my iPhone but i always run Music thru iTunes, so i never tried to play the direct connection from the iPhone to the Dock; when i tried it the music would play but it wouldn't come out of the speakers.

So i figured the doc wasn't compatible with my new 4S. I went on a search for a newer doc which would allow the iPhone 4s to play right out of the speakers; i tried several sets of speakers and nothing worked. The iPhone would charge but nothing would happen when I hit play. I know the speaker work because the MacBook pro would produce sound during movies, iTunes and so fourth.

I dropped the speakers off the edge of the desk today, the power cable became detached, and the Audio input cable pulled out...and now the speakers work. No warning on the box, nothing in the instructions says it, but the Aux input was stopping the iPhone from playing right into the Doc...

Problem solved. If this post helps just one other person it was worth typing. Cheers.
