I got a Logitech V270 bluetooth mouse for my MBP, and everything is all fine and dandy except for the tracking speed. If I set it to the lowest setting, it's pretty slow (too slow). But then if I move the setting one bar to the right, it's pretty fast (too fast), it's like I moved the bar to the halfway spot. So I plugged in my friend's wired MightyMouse and the tracking speed is a lot more adjustable, with speeds in between what I have available with the V270. Does anyone else have this issue and/or have a fix?

Yep

Same here. 1 bar is too slow and 2 bars are too fast:)

The first bar sets the scaling value to zero and the second bar sets it to 0.125. You can set it to an in-between value by opening a terminal window and entering the following command:

defaults write -g com.apple.mouse.scaling -float 0.05

Just be sure so log out and back in again.
