Logitech v470 not precise; change settings?

I have a Logitech mini mouse that is perfect but it has the USB connector. I got the Logitech v470 which is great, but it isn't precise. I changed the tracking speed, etc., but the pointer is still too slow or too fast. It takes a second to get it where I want it and it driving me nuts.

Are there optimal settings for the Logitech mice or is it just personal preference? If I can't get it set like the mini mouse then I am going to return it and try another bluetooth mouse. Maybe the crappy Mighty Mouse???

... try downloading the newest setpoint drivers, I use my V470 on my EEE PC and a couple of friends 's and it seems to work well....
