I agree it is a great notebook mouse and worth the $40 price. I paid $50 for mine, but I do think the $70 price tag is a bit steep so the rebate is great.
 
I say get this one. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16826104003 It's $36.99 and uses bluetooth so you won't need to carry around an RF receiver like the V500. I use to worked at CompUSA last year and they are a complete ripoff. I quite after a month because I felt too guilty selling peripherals and upgrades to people knowing they were paying way too much. If you compare prices of CompUSA to Newegg.com, CompUSA is usually double the price:eek: .

Bluetooth is slower and less reliable. Also, I dont have to carry around the reiciever it fits in the bottom of the mouse. Comp USA is pricey but thats the first thing I bought from them.
