Logitech Z-10 doesn't work with 2011 MacBook Pro 15"

Hey
I have the weirdest problem. I am running
  • 2011 15" MacBook Pro
  • 10.6.7

& trying to connect it with a Logitech Z-10 Set over USB.

It works perfectly with my 2007 MacBook - just connect it and boom it gets recognized! But no matter what I try, it won't get recognized on my new MBP.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?
