Hey all, I recently read a review of the Logitech Z-5500, reviewed by a professional, trained ear audiophile, and said that these speakers have a peak in teh 2khz-3khz region which causes listening fatigue over an extended time at high volume. Now, he was reviewing the old, older system, the ones with the RCA jacks, not the new ones, which also have a re-mastered amp. I simply want peoples opinions on these speakers for music, and over all listening experience. How is the imaging, sound-stage, tightness of the bass?

See, these speakers are appealing more and more to me becuase I recently, and OMG astonishingly obtained a PS3 through my bro, and these speakers would suit it perfectly, and suit my G5 quite nicely as well. I am a music lover, and want these speakers to be really good music speakers as well.

Link to review, read right below the graph: http://www.audioholics.com/productreviews/loudspeakers/LogitechZ-5500Speakers03.php

I am not an audiophile, but do love great music reproduction =]

Please people, chime in!

Peace

EDIT: Forget it, I'll just stick with my Ifi =D then probably go with a set of studio monitors later on =D.

Mods, go ahead and lock this one.

Peace
