Hey there,

I have a question about logKext 2.2: I installed it a couple of years ago, and it's been working great.
Recently, I upgraded to 10.6, and I know I'll need to upgrade to 2.3 in order to make logKext work again.

I did not do one last dump of my log file before upgrading to 10.6. When I try to log in to logKext, I get the following error:

Code:
Error: logKext Preferences cannot be found. Is logKextDaemon running?

I'm guessing that upgrading to logKext 2.3 will make me lose my log. Is there any way to retrieve the log? Can I load the daemon manually?

Thanks,

hmm pm the developed to clarify if u ll lose the log?

the logs are located at Library/Preferences/com.fsb.logKext

only its encrypted/pass protected so u need to find a way to use the password on it using another external app/command line to make it into normal text.

the developer should be able to help u again on this too :)
