This software is pretty awesome! I didnt even know about it until now. Wow, seeing my Mac on my iPhone. This will be even better with a bigger screen iPhone.

Damn, it was worth every dollar of the $30 I paid for it, but free would have been nice!

Does this app require that the computer at home be fully awake for the app to work? If I were going to use this app, would I have to block sleep (using Caffeine) to be able to connect?

Thanks for any reply...:D

This is probably the best app on my iPhone, and it was well worth the $30 i paid. For it to be free is amazing, its such useful app to be able to fully control your mac on your iPhone/itouch

I think they have simply gone to a tiered approach with a crippleware free app. Notice that the free version has a $39 pro version upgrade and the full logmein app went up to $99 for some reason.

Reading the description doesn't seem like many features missing from the free version though, I will try it.

Sorry to be stupid but I was under the impression that logmein always had a free version and a paid version.

I see the free version then a in app purchase of a pro version (39.99) and a ignition version which is 99. So which one was the 30 dollar one?

Edit.
Never mind. Saw Engadget article.

A PC with wake on LAN can be powered up. But a Mac can't be powered off. Don't overlooking checking with the source directly:

Nope. Was paid only.

This version is a new software that allows you to wirelessly control your computer. Those who bought the Ignition, the $30 one, can still enjoy the Pro features found under the In-App purchase of this one. I spent $15 on the ignition but this free one does everything I need it to do so the Pro features are kind of useless. I just wish I could mirror my mac's screen on the iPad using LogMeIn. I was under the impression I could do this but cannot figure out how.

OK, now I'm confused. This isn't Logmein Ignition which is what I paid $30 for and is now $99. And I'm having a little trouble figuring out what the differences are.

Totally downloaded this for me and my dad. I do tech support and know the value of a good streaming utility!
