See anything wrong with this sentence. It was posted on youtube of a guy showing a boot up time of his eMac and some guy posted this comment:

"LOL my imac g5 with intel core duo 2gb ram and 250gb hard drive Rules the world"

See anything wrong with that :p

You'd figure if they took the time to comment, they'd at least have knowledge of the hardware.:D

someone somewhere is posting a copy of this thread as proof that mac users don't know their specs. Aw the irony that my G6 running Leopard with a 250gb flash drive puts you all to shame.

Is this really thread worthy? I know lots of people who make this mistake. It's understandable for someone who doesn't spend their time on Mac forums. The design of the iMac G5 is the same as the Intel iMacs which leads to some confusion, as does the fact that an iBook / Powerbook G5 was never released. People think think this is what MBs and MBPs are, seeing as all "G" means is generation.

Well, I did get an early Christmas present from Apple! ;) :p :D

Turns out it wasn't Santa coming down your chimney at all...

What's kind of funny is watching a mac user with little PC experience, try to quote specs on pc's  Mac naming is somewhat linear and makes sense to a degree. PC's are way outside the rational realm.

Would tend to agree with you here.

Although Apple did have it's confusing days with the Performa series Macs and the clones.

Sure like the current line up a whole lot better.
