It may be worth 40 million retail but how much would they actually make on the black market? Then they say this is the second biggest robbery in history, is that 40 million adjusted for the consumer price index for other major robberies back through Britain's entire recorded history? Couldn't the plunder taken during the sacking of a major city be considered a massive organized robbery

At least no one was harmed. Though if these guys were as organized as they say, they are probably leaving British waters already. Otherwise they are taking a huge risk not heading for a country without an extradition treaty.

That's very expensive jewelry. Surprised they didn't do some things that should be obvious.
