Hi guys

Long story short I need a long (3m) cable to charge my 6S plus. I purchased a cheap one off eBay but it's coming up with that annoying error saying 3rd party chargers bla bla and it won't charge.

Anyone purchased a long cable from eBay etc that actually works and doesn't come up with this error message on iOS 9?

Best Buy sells a 10' Griffen that has worked well for me. Probably overpriced but it was available when I needed it.

Amazon Basics too. They're dirt cheap compared to Apple prices, and rarely have any problems with connectivity.

Lightning cables, 3' mostly. Unraveling at the Lightning connector end.

This happens to me on Apple's cables too :/

I have to agree with @lordofthereef here. I really do my best to keep cables in good shape. I've had Apples 3 foot $30 cables come apart on me. So if the 6 foot $2 Monoprice cables do it I can hardly be upset. They're MFi certified as well so they will work.
