Hi guys,
today i really messed up, so there's my story :

this morning i had this config on my ipod touch:
- Ipod Touch 4 firmware 4.2
- jailbreaked with greenpois0n

It all began with this song

I wanted to put this song on my iphone touch, but when i plugged my device in, an error appeared : The disk could not be read from or written to. (error)

I did everything that stand in this article but the error remained.

so i searched throught the net and found this

After this, i finally could sync my ipod touch with Itunes and thought my troubles were over.

Later when i was in the mood to listen to music i discovered that all my music got "deleted" (well not actually deleted because it stand clearly on itunes that 6GB was taken from songs)

So I once again decided to search the answer on the net.

But i just didn't worked, i restarted my ipod, my pc... Nothing.

So i cleared my whole songs (who weren't showing up) with itunes.

After that, i synced a few songs to see if they will be showing up in my ipod library, but no nothing. and i even had like an error message.

So i thought it would be better to completly re-install my ipod, but, when i clicked on restore, i saw that iTunes wanted to make some upgrade for my device (for v4.35 i think), so i clicked "no" and got to the ipod menu to reinitialize the default settings (thinking that it would do the same without updating my device).

Then, when my ipod restarted, it would only show the apple and the greenpois0n icon after that.

So i got into recovery mode and was going for a full recovery throught iTunes.

It all went good til the very end... error.
After that i tried everything on the article again without sucess.

Then i tested it on my second PC didn't work too - BUT, when i came back to the first iTunes wouldn't detect my device in recovery mode ( seems more like a turned off mode to me).

so here's what i got this evening :
- iPod Touch 4 firmware v.Dunno
- jailbreaked?
- iTunes don't detect it anymore, tested greenpois0n, umbrella and a few more.

it doesn't react anymore to anything, tested 10 sec here, 10 sec there; etc.

So guys, Is my iPod Touch dead?

tl;dr - tested almost everthing?, my iPod touch won't react to anything after a failed recovery.

edit1: if i posted in the wrong section, feel free to move this thread :)
