It takes 27 seconds to complete shutdown on my new MBA 2011 13" 1.8Ghz i7, with Lion 10.7.1. It takes 6 seconds on my iMac. What is wrong with my MBA?

It might have to do with a program with a unusual amount of system memory trying to store it all in the hard drive before it shuts down. Go to Activity Monitor before you shut it down and compare it to your iMac.

Thanks. Good idea. This is what i see in activity monitor. Is there something I can change or delete to solve my problem.
