There's no place to introduce myself so I thought I'd do that before posting my questions....

Hi! I'm Dee from down under (original from the US). Moved to Oz nearly 3 years ago.

Ok.... I bought a MBP nearly 5 years ago, original OS was Tiger... since, I've upgraded to Leopard, to Snow Leopard.

I have so much crap on my computer that it's time for a clean wipe and a fresh install of OS and apps... I've already prepared my back ups of movies/documents/photos/emails/bookmarks and the like...

My question... since I bought this puter with Tiger, do I need to wipe and install with Tiger or can I just use the Snow Leopard disk? I do not intend to backup my old OS... this is a clean/fresh OS that I want on my drive... and I have all my apps on CD and on an external hard drive for reinstalling later, etc.

Thanks for any advice!

You can just use snow leopard. It doesn't have to start with Tiger.
