Silly I know. But is anyone else getting a longer face with facetime/front cam, especially when holding it close. As I stretch my arm to the max I get a "normal" face.
It kinda happens when holding the rear camera close too, but not as bad.

Using iPhone 5.
 
I think it's called physics. If you hold your face in front of any lense, the way from the lense to your face varies. Some parts are near while others are far. I've drawn this masterpiece to illustrate what I mean. Even your own eyes aren't better, e.g. hold your eyes very close to someone's face and their face will seem longer than it actually is. The difference is that your brain knows what's going on and so you won't even pay attention.
