Longer lightning cable that doesn't mess up TouchID?

I got one that was MFI certified and 6 feet on Amazon. It's still a little shorter than I need (old house, few outlets) and TouchID won't work with it plugged in. Suggestions?

your doing it wrong. I have 3 and they work fine with touch id. Get a replacement from amazon.

instead of making the lighting cable longer why not make the AC outlet longer?(ie an extension cord)

Good point. I'm already using a surge protector strip. I guess I could look for a longer one of those.

Nope there amazons cord. And they all work perfectly and last a lot longer then apples.

My AYL 6' lightning cable is working fine with my 6+ plugged in and touch ID.
