Why do I have to click on the > icon in order to read the full SMS? Longer messages always used to show in their entirety on iOS6 and before.

I noticed this yesterday. Maybe they think having one large bubble in the conversation would ruin the look of the elegant iOS 7. It kind of annoys me though

Yeah, me too. I didn't realise it could be expanded at first. I just thought that the person sending the text had abruptly finished and erroneously ended their text with the > symbol!
