How many minutes ?

I use to take a taxi and it would take up to 30 to 45 minutes sometimes.

About 15 minutes in the suburbs on a random Saturday.

The worst I've heard of in my circle of friends was hours. He was at the very far range of Uber's service map and every single driver that was assigned to him cancelled, but each assignment/cancellation took about half an hour. After 4 or 5 cancellations he had to call a taxi.

it depends. In populated cities, it takes the drivers a while to figure out where you are even if you tell them.

The thing about cab drivers is most of them know where they're going if not by name then by street corner.

The problem with Uber/Lyft drivers is they tend to just stare at their phones with the GPS

Never had a problem getting a ride and never left someone waiting for very long on the few occasions I drove for both companies.
