So I have the iPhone 4S 64gig and was really wanting that old 3Gs form factor back. Not sure of anyone else was a fan of that feel but I found a case to help me out with it Griffin makes them. The case is call the reveal orbit. I'm pretty sure there are better ones out there but these is feeding my need for now. Anyone else miss that 3Gs feel.

I like the form factor better than my old 3GS. And I'm happy to get away from a plastic back.

Well I'm sorry I mean more of the form factor as in it's shape not so much the materials used to make the device.

IMO the 3Gs is easier to drop. The smooth finish with rounded edges, no thanks. I enjoyed mine and while the form didn't really matter to me as I used it in a case as I do the 4s, I just think the new design is easier to hold safely.

I actually dislike the form factor of the old 3G/3GS. It looked cheap, this is not speaking from a material standpoint.

I like the current iPod touch look and materials used.

Ordered a stainless steel back for my 4S. Just hope it doesn't affect reception like it did on my 4.

Nope not at all. I hated the iphone 3G/3GS form factor. I liked the iphone 4 form factor way better than the 3G/3GS.

The 4S is my first iPhone, but I always admired the form factor of the 3G. I think the 4S form factor is really sleek and more modern day "Apple", though.
