Hello everyone,

First things first, i've been a customer of ATT since the iPhone 4. We have 2 iPhone 5's and an iPhone 4 on our plan, and we right now get 10GB shared data with unlimited talk and text for about $145. This is a promotional offer and goes up 25$/line if I upgrade.

I like AT&T. Customer service has been good (once went way over my minutes and they just reversed a $600 bill back to original), coverage is OK where I live. They have usually waived all activation fees and even paid the ETF when I first switched from T-Mobile. No major complaints.

However, VZW is offering $200/each for our iPhone's, including the 4. This is pretty enticing. We are thinking of going with the 6GB plan, which comes to $200/month, this would be the same as AT&T.

My questions: will VZW also waive activation fees and such if I request it? How is VZW customer service? Can anyone explain more about AT&T next/Verizon Edge? I understand there is no contract and that we pay monthly installments on the phone. Is it more cost effective to go through that route (monthly) or the traditional 2 year plans?

Thank you! And I really appreciate you guys taking the time out to answer these questions, sorry if they have been asked before!
