Look into the verizon! i think i see the white horse!

The white version is pretty breathtaking. Not only that but it also has the advantages over the black version of:
- no fingerprints shown
- scratches are harder to see
- white has less sunlight absorption than black so your phone doesn't get as hot
- less common so has better resale value.

Of course the haters are gonna cone on the thread with dumb responses like:
"white is ugly"
"just wait for the iPhone 5 apple"
"there's no point to having a color choice in a phone"

Make sure to not pay attention to any of these responses ;)

mine got stolen a few weeks back and i got a black replacement at upgrade price...guess ill be returning that before my 30 days and getting the white one :) :)
 
I liked the way they did the 3g/3gs white versions in the way they still had the black border around the LCD. I find a white border around the LCD distracting. Otherwise I really like the white phone.

Sad to hear that your first was stolen though.
 
I sort of like it, looks very StormTrooper style from StarWars. Other white phones I have seen looks very clean, and seem to show off the screen better. My friend has the Verizon Samsung Fascinate in White, and that screen color seems to pop out more, and look better.

Plus every phone out is either black or dark gray, white is different.
 
are there that many people out there that would wait 10 months for a white phone??? Are you kidding me?

no but there are A LOT of people that are coming off contract that really do not want to, or can't wait for a new iphone that is coming in september/october.
 
Here we go again, another round of Apple yanking it's followers chains... :)

I've got to give credit to Apple, they can grab headlines or just plain attention for any old stupid reason.

I'm not saying you don't deserve an opinion, as you do. But what I fail to understand, and what I have failed to understand the past ten months, is why, in a white iPhone thread, people feel a need to point out how ugly it is. Yes, you're expressing your opinion, but is it necessary? And what are you saying should be done with that opinion? Are you saying Apple shouldn't release the phone because you think it's ugly? I think black is ugly, atrocious actually. I don't make that point in every iPhone thread, and I never try to say Apple shouldn't release a black product because I don't like it. It just confuses me when people are expressing their dislike of a certain color as to why they do it.

And conversely speaking... it just confuses me why somebody would dump a perfectly good phone for one that looks and works the same way but only it's white.

The hype over this reeks of major adolescent spoilage - nothing more.
 
Bar soap; bed sheets, and men's underwear should be white.
Iphones should be black.

Don't blame me. That's just the law of civility in a polite society.
 
I am glad I finally gave up waiting for the white iPhone 4 like 7 months ago lol.
