Do you actually call them "English muffins" in England, as opposed to just "muffins"?

I believe raggedjimmi has said on many an occasion he doesn't drink. I'm sure he'll confirm this in a later post.

yup! english muffins are sorta more cylindrical and sweet-ish. regular muffins (just... muffin) are big round mishapen breaded monsters, the deformed brother of regular bread. i know its totally daft but hey!

No :) I dont drink. which is probably even more worrying!

Looks good! Next time fry up some pepperoni and then add the eggs and scramble.

The pepperoni juices add a great flavor to the eggs :)

Actually if you look on the package in the first picture, they're called just muffins, white muffins anyway.

Oh my brother made me those one day for breakfast, I forgot how good they are. Glad to know they are enjoyed accros the world:cool:

what does this picture even mean anyway:confused:

Bless

Duh it obviously means that the rabit enjoys pancakes on its head.;)

So what do they call Chinese food in China? "Food"?

And in most places I've seen, German shepherds are called "Alsatians", since they derive from the Alsace region of France (which borders Germany).

And why don't we call other countries by the name they use there? Why do we still call Germany "Germany" and not call it "Deutschland"?

Could this thread be any more random?
