can somebody post a link to one they have bought that fits the iphone with a bumper on


when i say cheap i mean below $15 and also not from ebay

If you can make friends with a manager at an Apple Store, you might be able to get them to give you one of their extra long cables they use for the iPads in the window displays. I got one that way.

All you need is a USB extension cable. Monoprice.com has them for dirt cheap. I'm talking ~$5.

Wow. I feel like an idiot... I didn't even think of suggesting that... OP, go that route.

HOLY MAC (pun intended hahaha..not funny)..

but yeah...that cable from the post above is perfect! Some extension cables don't work though...make sure you get something that does. My logitech usb mouse receiver port seems to work fine as an extension for the iphone cables. Also, some extension cables have been reported to charge but not sync..just another note you might find useful.

I use a 10ft Griffin USB Cable I got from a Walmart for around 20 bucks. It's a nice thick cable and it's perfect for what I need it for.

I would recommend either Monoprice or Dealextreme to the OP. I have ordered many items from both and I am very pleased.

the apple store sells the 10 ft griffin cables so they must work. I think they are $14.95 but not positive. you may go to griffin's website to find it. I have a 10 footer and it wont sync either it will just charge. it is a Belkin and it does say now that I look at it "charge only cable" guess I should have looked when I bough it!!! lol
