iPad Looking (again) for an iPad 4 case, folio style, not leather

I work in upper administration at a university and use my iPad daily to take notes, so I don't want something that covers the bezel. It also needs to look professional and if it could be not black, that would be a plus. And... no leather.

I loved the Devicewear Ridge, but the iPad 4 doesn't quite snap into it and will fall out easily. I then got a Casecrown Ace, which was fine at first, but within a couple of months it started to shred at the edges. Now, it has probably 50/60 little threads popping out at any one time, and the colored coating is wearing off on all the corners.

Ideas happily received!

Dang! That's a nice looking case. I like the brown and orange combo too, though I would probably go with black and red, but maybe not...

The reviews of the regular Lexington aren't too great, which makes me wonder.

I don't understand why so few companies have put out a iPad3/4 specific case when there is a difference in the measurement of the 2 and the 3/4. I have 2 snap cases that fit that 2 nicely, but will not fit the 3/4.

I am looking for not leather, but this got me looking at the Fintie brand, which I wasn't familiar with.

Even cheaper here, would this fit in the belkin ipad stand, i have their back cover that will?

I had to Google "Alcantara" thinking it was a made up word for Ultrasuede.

While I'm not too far off the mark, it's a real product name and is definitely used in high-end stuff like Ferrari's. That would make a nice case!
 
Have you ever looked at Joy Factory cases?
They have some nice cases.
I use the Connent the Dots case since I got my iPad 3 and it has been amazing! :)
