Looking at getting Apple TV. I have some questions?

I live in an Apartment and know I would have to get a powered antenna for local channels. My TV has a tuner built in. I don't have pay channels on cable, just a a package deal with several HD channels.

1. Can I get ESPN? Is it free?
2. What about TLC, The History Channel,A&E, ? Are they free?
3. My daughter watches PLL can I get that too?
4. The Disney channel, Nickelodeon

Do I have to pick the shows I want or do they play like TV continuously?

Do I get the latest shows as they air?

What I meant to say was do they stream live channels? For example ESPN

The ATV has a limited set of apps. YouTube, Netflix and Hulu+ among the iTunes Store rentable/buyable content is all that's available. There is no live streaming at all. Shows have to be picked after one ends. They do not play continuously. A Roku 3 would be a better fit for you.

And as far as I know the only way to get ESPN on any box is to have a cable/sat package already. That's what is keeping a lot of people from cutting the cord.
