I currently have a 27 inch imac i5 at home that I purchased in March 2010 and wanted to start using one at work to replace my 21.5 i3. I work in software development, so don't play games or do any 3d, video editing, etc... Just do alot of compiling, run VMWare fusion and like to work with lots of terminal windows open.

My question is, is the 27 inch 2.7ghz i5 with the 6770M gpu enough to power the 27 inch as well as my secondary HP 2210m display.

Thanks.

Yes it is.

Thanks! Read a few reviews that stated I would need the upgraded version, good to hear I don't really need it.
