I just went searching the Refurbished units on Apple's site and boy am I glad I did not buy a MBP with the 2.66 CPU for $2000 on eBay because Apple has a whole bunch of Previous Gen MBP cheap, the 2.53 is $1449 and the 2.66 is $1699 and the 2.8 CPU is $1699, also the newly listed 2.93 CPU is $1999.
They do not really offer any deals on the Refurbished uMB, they have the 2.4 for $1449, humm so why get the 13 MB when you can get the 15 MBP
The only thing that would push me toward a new one is the battery, other then that I would be happy with a xGen MBP because I can still swap out the HDD on my own, and all these models have the 9600GT with the 512 MB VRam as well.
I am not sure why Apple makes it so you have to buy the 2.8 model on the new units to get the 512MB VRam, kinda of blah blah decision I think.
