looking for: 22" TFT as bright as MacBook Pro 17

Hey,
I'm looking for a 22 inch TFT to expand my matte 17 inch MacBook Pro. There are reviews for everything everywhere, but reliable TFT reviews seem to be rare. As rare as reliable product specifications from the manufacturers.

I'm looking for a display that provides the 300 cd/m^2 that my MacBook Pro has. My room is quite bright at day times. Having matching brightness on both screens is a big thing for me. Further I'd like to have at least 1920x1080 on something between 20 and 22 inch size. Design? As subtle as possible, simply black is what I like best. I don't care for built in fun like USB-Hubs and alike.

Display Port would be great, colors do not matter much. I'm a programmer and do rarely touch photos or movies. My budget is hovering around 200€ which is about 270$.

Googling didn't get me far, yet, since manufacturer: 300 cd/m^2 != real 300 cd/m^2.
Does anyone here at MucRumors know a display to suggest?

to sum it up:
looking for a TFT feat.: 270$, 20-22 inch size, 1920x1080 or best 1920x1200, as bright as a matte MacBook Pro 17" 2011 (300 cd/m^2)
optional: subtle design, display port

just Google it.

Type in size, and 300 nits (or whatever).

Note: if i'm not mistaken, 22" is kind of an off size. Most are 20, 23,24 I would think. Don't know.

they exist, Acer makes them.
 
well.. that's actually.. the point:
every second TFT appears to be advertised as 300cd, or in other words as bright as my Mac, while having a brightness between 200 and 250.

I've already tried HPs LA2405wg (got one at work, advertised as 300 cd.. reality around 200 cd) and an ASUS VH222 (which is advertised 300, too, and no where near as bright as my Mac as well). Haven't had an Acer though, but given their prices I hardly doubt they are any different.
Long story short: those advertised values are nuts.

Someone here with a nice and bright 22 inch screen?
Sitting with my back to a window I refuse to darken, I need daylight ;), I'd really like to have one as bright as my Mac..
