Looking for a 15inches MBP to use designing program like illustrator and photoshop

Hi,

I am asking these questions for my friend as she is a fashion designer who is planning to purchase the MBP for her work. She is planning to use the software like Illustrator and Photoshop, and she would want me to ask which machine she should buy. I have recommended her to get the 15inches with 2.8 mhz with 4gb memory. I would like to know if anyone who is in the fashion industry or similar can give me any advice. Does she need to upgrade the cpu speed to 3.0? And does she need to upgrade the memory to 8 gb?

Sounds like she's just starting out so the 2.8 + 4 Gb will work fine. PS loves memory but unless shes a pro user working on 1000 layer compositions on a 30" monitor with a client breathing down her neck the extra fluff will be wasted.
