so I have one of the Late 2011 15 inch MBP that says it's Sata 6Gb/s in the optical bay, but won't work reliably with a Sata 6Gb/s drive.

I currently have a SSD in my main bay, and a 1 TB Sata 3Gb/s in the optical bay with OWC Data Doubler. The 1 TB is running out of room and I want to upgrade it to a 2TB drive, but can't seem to find one that's 3Gb/s.

So does anyone know of a 1.5 or 2TB drive that is natively 3Gb/s or can be downclocked to 3Gb/s through a manufacturer's utility?

thanks. OWC tech support said the drive they use is the Spinpoint M9T, which is Sata 6Gb/s natively.
