Looking for a bus-powered dual 2.5" RAID1 enclosure

What I want:

1) Two 2.5" HDDs up to 15mm
2) Ideally, hardware RAID 0 / RAID 1 controller
3) Bus powered (USB3.1, USB-C PD or Thunderbolt 3 preferred, also Thunderbolt 2 would work)
4) Reliable

Anyone knows if such a thing exists?

No such thing exists. While the FW800 unit is possible because FireWire is capable of delivering 40W of power over the FireWire bus. Thunderbolt only delivers 10W.

Hm, that's interesting! But I wasn't excited for long:

2.5" SATA 6Gb/s drives (drive height up to 9.5mm)

Such a shame....

You just expect too much.

You can fit 2 x 9.5mm high 2TB drives in it. That should be enough.

I need 4TB (or even 5TB with Seagate ST5000LM000) of effective capacity with RAID1, so 15mm drives are my only options.
