  1. Silicone interior to hold the iPad 2 in place. The silicone should be a snug fit. I do not want a case where the iPad snaps into bare plastic tabs. What would be acceptable though is a similar snap in case where each tab was rubber lined.
  2. Smart on and off function activated by the front cover.
  3. Front cover should be made of a durable and preferably scratch and dent proof material.
  4. Durable rear protection.
  5. NO glossy finish or surfaces at all.
  6. No hand or case closure straps.

The closest I have found is the Tucano Schermo but the front cover material is extremely fragile. Mine even came out of the plastic package brand new with several dents in it from the shipping process, not encouraging.

Thanks.

Thank you for the suggestions. I have updated my wish list to reflect a few of the characteristics that the cases you recommended made me realize I wanted.

I just ordered the Marware CEO hybrid. It should be here next week to verify but the reviews I read makes me feel it's exactly what I need. It seems to fit your feature list too.

Sounds a lot like the Switcheasy Cara, except the part holding the iPad is more of a TPU material
