I'm a freelance journalist and want to start using software that will help me keep track of contacts, projects, outlying opportunities, etc.
Daylite gives me damn near everything I want, but I cringe at the $189 price tag.
Are there any alternative programs out there that provide the same sort of functionality for less cash? I've played around with the trial version of OmniFocus as well, but I can't figure out any way to have it store contact/client information and link clients to projects...and I really need to be able to do that.
Suggestions?
