Hey everyone! I'm looking for a stand/dock for my iPhone (I have a 4S and a 5s is coming in the mail). I plan to use this for facetime, a stand when listening to music, a place to hold my phone when not in use, and possibly when at night as a clock. I'll also have a Caudabe "The Veil" case on my 5s so if it works with that, it's a plus (I wouldn't mind having to take it off, but I'd rather not). It will be placed on my computer desk (wood) and I don't want it sliding around as I browse through music. My eyes are about 1ft above my desk, and the stand will be placed about 1ft away from me. My price is under $30 (USD).

So far I've found the elago M2 and the Bluelounge Milo Aluminum. The M2 seems really nice but there seems to be a problem, it seems I can't use the headphone jack when it's in portrait mode, and the angle seems steep so I'm not sure how that works. A plus though is that it has holes in the back for the lightning cable. The Milo's problem seems to be it doesn't really work well for charging in portrait mode which isn't good.

Thank you so much for all your help.

Hmm, that seems too low to be able to charge while facetiming though. Any more? Thanks by the way.

Thanks a bunch. Do you think the iOttie would stick to a flat wood desk?

Elago

I have seen the Elago - they seem nice. Update us and let us know how it is working out!
