I have a MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2018, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports) and I need a mic for an acting project I'm doing using Zoom Meeting. I hear the Blue Snowball usb mic is a good choice, any other recommendations?

Sorry, no other recommendations, but wanted to put in a good word for the Blue Snowball Ice for its quality, ease of use and price, which I use for spoken voice audio with Logic Pro and Audacity. I also love its looks. I bought it off the shelf from Best Buy.

Thanks for the recommendation. Is it useful for live audio via Zoom. What I'm concerned with is the possibility off others on the chat hearing an echo.

I would also suggest that if you buy a USB type mic, that you get one that also has a headphone jack "on the mic itself". They usually have a small volume control for monitoring as well.

This should provide latency-free monitoring when wearing headphones.
