Hey guys, up until yesterday, I've been using OS X on my old blueberry clamshell, but I happened to find an old 9.1 CD lying around, so I wiped everything and installed that instead. Even though I've used macs since birth, when classic was still hot, the only apps I knew of were KidPix and MathBlaster

So, I enlist you, faithful mac zealots, to help me find an old word processing program (preferrably compatible with .doc files) for OS 9. I've been surviving on SimpleText to take notes and what-not, but I think I'm in need of something a bit more advanced. Thanks!!

(And do you have any other software suggestions? Preferred browsers, IM clients, stuff like that? Thanks!) :)

*sigh* Corel was a good company...and I remember vaguely when WP was the good word processor.... Sad that they fell so far from grace. Good of them to release a free version. Especially compared to those companies that are still trying to profit off the bought-and-sold-a-thousand-times copyrights to Atari 2600 games. :(

Of course, even Microsoft has occasionally been so nice as to let out a free version of a program they were going to drop support for.

Thanks guys, I'm on dial-up ( :( ) so I won't know for a couple hours, but I think this is exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks a bunch!
