I use my iPad in bed alot and on the couch, I also travel alot. I have had 3 cases so far and I have not been happy with any of them. I don't want to spend anymore money trying to find the best case.

I am not looking for all those ones that only have a few angles that are not stable.

Also not looking for a cheap amazon case

It might help if you listed the ones you tried and didn't like.

But, I travel a lot and wanted something light and with a stable stand. I bought the STM Grip. Weighs almost nothing, nice stand for landscape mode, has the magnets for the wake up thing and has a 'lip' that keeps it closed. My husband has the same case (he travels a lot too) and loves it.

As for at home, I find it balances nicely on my lap. It has two angles. But it doesn't help if you use portrait mode. I never do so it works well for me. Last,I looked it is about $30 or so from Amazon.

Found the link. It comes in several colors. I have the berry and my husband has the blue.

Rather than telling us what you don't like, tell us what you do like. POst links to examples. Oh, and there is an accessory subfirum that you'll probably get more suggestions in.

Thanks for the suggestion but looking for something with more than 2 angles and the small kickstand on there would probably make it a little wobbly

Well I haven't found a case yet that I like to be honest.

I had bought the griffin magnet stand folio case which is a total piece of you know what. A friend had a griffin standle which was also pretty bad.

Then I bought one of those 360 stand ones which only goes in a few angles and they barley stay in the angles they keep sticking out.

I had the apple smart cover too but ya not good for my needs

Ya I should have posted this in the accessories section, didn't know about that. Thanks though :)

Once again, you haven't said what your specific needs are. What kind of case? What do you want it to do? What is the most important thing you want it to do? How much protection do you need? What materials do you need? Whayt made those Griffin cases bad? Why was rhw smartcover not good for your needs? Etc...

You need to provide solid information.

My girl has this and it seems good. I like the way it props the iPad up, but if you need to be able to type on the iPad while at an angle it won't work for you.

Both my wife and I have iPads, and we use Incase book jacket select cases. Her case is maroon, and mine is black. Overall, we are pretty happy with them.

Pros:
Professional look and feel
Numerous propping positions for reading and typing at different angles
Excellent protection for iPad
Magnetic on/off

Cons:
Adds some bulk and weight
Only props in landscape position
Some ports and buttons are a little difficult to access

I have tried different cases, but keep coming back to this one....so, it must be doing something right for me and how I use my iPad.

I understand the desire for more angles. But there is no wobble in this case so that's not a concern.

Good luck with your quest. I looked for years for the 'right' case/stand. This one works for me. But as far as I've found the 'perfect' case just doesn't exist. Please post the one you finally get. I've stopped looking but would be interested in case you find one I've missed.

Best case I have had by FAR

Hello Dallasmacr, I understand your frustration trust me I went throught the same thing and bought tonnss of cases :( they all have the same crappy angles and its so annoying!!!!!

But I found a keeper finally. Its called the Case Prodigy and it is by FAR the best one I have had. Its super easy to change from one angle to another but it uses a magnetic kickstand to keep it securely locked into whatever angle you are using.

If you looking for a case that has more angles that are stable for bed couch or table this is the case that does it all.

Also I used a coupon code, I don't remember what it was but there is prob some on retailmenot.com

I decided to go ahead and order the Case Prodigy and I received it yesterday. I'm really really liking it so far. Thanks so much for the suggestion again and I will be sure to post a short review here after I have used it a little more.

Great to hear, im sure you will love it. I haven't found any other case that has such a secure design for all the viewing angles like the Case Prodigy.

Anyways enjoy!
