I am looking for a good media server and I thought that you could give me some helpful advice. I would use the application mainly with my PS3 that is connected with the TV in the living room.
The media server I am looking for should be able convert HD mkv files 'on-the-fly' so that they can be directly streamed to the PS3. The program should also be Snow Leopard compatible.
Do you have any suggestions? If you had any experience with some of the apps please also state if you tried the HD mkv to stream conversion and its performance.
