I've been dealing with some issues with a few games and such (notably Second Life), and found that with an OpenGL Profiler I could fix my graphic freeze issues.
The problem with the graphics freezes I found was due to the graphics card in the MBP, GeForce 8600M GT.
My issue is that I'm having difficulty finding a free OpenGL Profiler I could use to attach a program to, the one that Apple originally provided for Leopard doesn't seem to be free anymore, and any others I have come across have been shareware with restricted use to the point of being useless.
I'm currently running Leopard 10.5.5 on a MBP Core 2 Duo, GeForce 8600M GT
if you guys are aware of any out there, shout out
edit: sorry if this is the wrong forum, wasn't sure whether this should go under software or hardware
edit edit: A little research shows that an update to 10.5.6 will fix the problem...hopefully...will post if the issue persists (here's to hoping my emulation for abandonware games remains somewhat intact)
