I am looking for a good source or unreal engine to write with. Well, it could really be anything. I am just starting up with "writing" games and couldn't think of better people to talk to than other mac users. I am currently running a Dual 2 GHz PowerPC G5. No money for the new iMac unfortunately, so intel programs are not an option for me (damn you motorola). Does anyone have some advice they could help me with?

I have no clue what you are asking for. What do you mean good source? Source code? Also for writing games are you talking coding games, writing stories for games, or designing games?

As for Unreal the UDK is free to everyone. You can get it here but its windows only so you will need to use it in bootcamp:

For something for Mac, use Unity 3D: http://www.unity3d.com

If you provide me more info I can probably give you a better suggestion.
